Born within the International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA)
The Women in Coffee Alliance, Costa Rica, is an association of women representing various sectors of the Costa Rican coffee industry, including: producers, processors, roasters, exporters, marketers, baristas, cuppers, and enthusiasts.
Their goal is to strengthen the soft skills, technical abilities, and business management of women in Costa Rica's coffee sector, in support of their economic, political, social, and environmental empowerment.
Mission
To provide women in the Costa Rican coffee industry with the necessary tools for strengthening their entrepreneurial participation, both nationally and internationally
Vision
To be a Costa Rican model organization, nationally and internationally recognized, creating new opportunities for women in the coffee sector of their country, thus improving the quality of life in their communities in a sustainable manner.
